We couldn’t be more excited to announce that Matt Marshall has joined Spiff as Chief Revenue Officer effective immediately. Matt brings a wealth of sales experience acquired over years of leadership working for some of the best-known software companies in the world. Most recently, Matt led sales for over 4 years at Iterable where he grew revenue by approximately 30x.

Matt joins Spiff after the company has closed a $10M Series A led by Norwest Venture Partners, released an entirely new version of its core commission engine, rolled out the most simple and effective ASC 606 compliance tool for commissions, and unveiled a new reporting product, Spiff Insights. Other investors in the company include Kickstart Seed Fund, Album VC, Pipeline Capital, Epic Ventures, and NextWorld Ventures.

“I’m excited to be joining Spiff to help accelerate the growth of the company. I’m incredibly impressed with the solution and even more impressed by the team Spiff has assembled so far. I was most attracted by the vision of the company and being an innovator in the fast-growing commissions management and sales intelligence market,” Matt said.

Matt will help accelerate the company’s already impressive growth. Spiff has grown in excess of 1200% over the last 7 months.

“Matt’s track record of excellence and the camaraderie he builds in his teams was inspiring to us. We are so grateful Matt chose to join us. Matt will help us to realize our vision of rolling out commissions management and sales intelligence software to every company with a sales team,” added Jeron Paul, founder and CEO of Spiff.

Before Iterable, Matt had a string of successes at high-profile software companies like Citrix, SuccessFactors and Embarcadero Technologies.

Sean Jacobsohn, a partner at Norwest Venture Partners who serves on Spiff’s board remarked: “We’re excited to partner with Matt as Spiff is seeing tremendous growth. Matt has a strong track record at some of the most successful enterprise cloud companies.  We are thrilled to welcome Matt to the Norwest family.”
