Here are just some of the people who work with us to make Spiff what it is today.
Trevor Pearce, Instructional Designer
Trevor is a Utah native who loves everything the state has to offer! He taught in a school setting for nearly a decade before his interests in business and technology pushed him into the IT world.
Trevor has spent the last two years using his affinity for teaching and learning to grow into a new career. Trevor has a wonderful, fantastic wife and four rowdy boys that keep them constantly entertained. Trevor and his family do a lot of Lego, Nerf, and Nintendo. Audible and Spotify are dear friends. He can often be found wandering the local disc golf course, slinging plastic and searching for lost discs. Never his own, of course…
What excites you most about your role at Spiff?
Dan Vasilevsky, Sales Engineer
Dan grew up in a suburb of Boston, MA, called Westford. Growing up his father shared his love of technology and it rubbed off onto him. Fast forwarding a few years and that inspiration helped him achieve a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of New Hampshire in 2019.
Knowing he had a knack for learning new things and meeting new people, sales engineering seemed like the right next step. Out of college he accepted an IT role that was local to him, but happily moved over to his new position at Spiff as a Sales Engineer in mid September. Dan has many hobbies such as Hiking, Bouldering, Traveling, Photography, and practically anything DIY.
What excites you most about your role at Spiff?
Andres Rincon, Technical Support Engineer
Andres is a 25-year-old tech professional constantly aspiring for new adventures and experiences. Andres has been fond of tech since the first time I picked up an n64 controller. From then on, he was intrigued by all things related to tech involving household computer troubleshooting or helping friends pick out the latest tech specs for their new PC builds.
Andres went to school at Kennesaw State University where he received his Bachelor’s in Information Systems. Some of Andres’s personal hobbies include soccer, snowboarding, skateboarding, craft beer, and anything involving live arts.
What excites you most about your role at Spiff?
Justin Mason, Sales Development Representative
Justin grew up in the warm weather of Southern California. From selling kitchen cutlery right out of high school, to knocking doors and calling on large corporations, Justin has found a passion for sales. Enhancing people’s lives through products and services, helping solve everyday challenges people face, and just getting to chat are a few reasons Justin can’t get away from sales. In his free time, Justin enjoys time on Catalina Island with his wife and daughter, or racing mountain bikes down his local trails.
What excites you most about your role at Spiff?
Ryan Lumba, People Coordinator
Ryan is a true Colorado native and a family-oriented individual. Family and friends are his motivators, Ryan enjoys the nature of working with good people, and he always finds a balance in everything he does. With his love of sports, he is a natural team player in and outside of work. Ryan believes that people need to have the best experience when joining a new company, by serving as a resource and building authentic connections with each new hire. Ryan is a great example of someone who does everything with purpose.
What excites you most about your role at Spiff?
Gabe Ferreira, Director of People
Gabe grew up in São Paulo, Brazil, and moved to the States when he was 14. His original career goal was to become a Marriage and Family Therapist. Overtime, though, Gabe took an interest in business and learned that he could have a greater impact on people’s lives by helping organizations provide a great human experience while also helping the business grow and achieve its goals. His wife and two children are everything to Gabe. Outside of work, Gabe says he’s a huge Star Wars nerd, loves to cook (although he’s still learning), and he loves running.
What excites you most about your role at Spiff?
Solomon Huffaker, Technical Support Engineer
Solomon grew up in a combination of the Salt Lake valley, and a small farm town in Idaho. Living on a farm had Solomon riding dirt bikes at a young age that instilled a love of motorcycles that has been a part of his life for as long as he can remember. Solomon now has a couple of Harley’s and he works on them at a motorcycle shop at night to unwind from his work in tech.
Solomon has been a Linux/Windows SysAdmin for years and worked at a range of businesses from tiny startups that never took off to one of the world’s largest software companies. Solomon is driven by the excitement and opportunity within startups.
What excites you most about your role at Spiff?
Natalie Gorton, Solutions Engineer
Nat grew up in south east England and studied performing arts at college. Her first job combined organizing film shoots with all of the accounting and budgeting of a small business. The emergence of the Internet led to roles in sales and a passion for bringing better ways of working to businesses. She’s since worked in marketing and project management and found a quiet joy in SQL.
What excites you most about your role at Spiff?
Eugenia Shamanaeva, Executive Assistant
Eugenia has family roots of Siberian origin, she grew up and graduated in Budapest, Hungary. Eventually her heart found a home in England. Eugenia has a real thirst for knowledge, sees times of change as an opportunity, and constantly likes to perfect her ways of working.
Eugenia delivers excellence as an Executive Assistant. She likes structured operations, brings vivacity to her workplace, and uses her positive attitude and tireless energy to support others and succeed as one whole.
Eugenia has an active lifestyle and loves traveling. She attends adult ballet classes and gets her strength from the gym. She channels her happy vibes from music, meeting her friends, and long walks in the city or nature.
What excites you most about your role at Spiff?
Parker Holzer, Research Data Scientist
Parker was born and raised in Bountiful, UT and pursued a double-major in mathematics and physics at The University of Utah, followed by a Ph.D. in statistics and data science at Yale University.
He has enjoyed a wide range of experience applying data science to fields including astronomy, real estate, and health science. Such experience has given Parker the realization of just how powerful and ubiquitous data science is, as well as how it must be used properly with high integrity. To round out his life, Parker loves biking, camping with his wife and children, and researching his ancestry.
What excites you most about your role at Spiff?
Nick Flynn, Front-End Engineering Manager
Nick grew up in Salt Lake City but moved south to St. George several years ago. He enjoys hiking and canyoneering — both of which are readily available in southern Utah. Coding and software development was not his original plan. It wasn’t even on the radar! He worked in video production throughout high school and college before he discovered programming. He is a father of two and loves watching his kids discover the world.
What excites you most about your role at Spiff?
Tianna Keenan, Solutions Engineer
Tianna was born and raised in Salt Lake City but spent the last 20 years in Bend, Oregon, where she got a degree in business management and accounting. She is passionate about people and loves helping customers solve problems. Tianna has spent her career in many roles from solution engineering, marketing, operations, sales, and sometimes unicorn.
Outside of work, she enjoys listening to live music and always looks forward to the next show. She also enjoys traveling, a great detective story, and playing a game of kickball.
What excites you most about your role at Spiff?
Venus Sung, Product Designer
Venus is a Product Designer who loves solving problems through design and visual storytelling. She is fueled by people, books, art, music, coffee and really great smoothies. She lived in Fairbanks, Alaska for 10 years before moving down to Salt Lake City with her family where they currently reside.
What excites you most about your role at Spiff?
Lendle Ho, Solutions Engineer
Lendle was born and raised in Utah. Having the chance to attend the University of Utah and majoring in business management grew his passion for people and the booming tech industry here in Utah. Pursuing an internship at a small tech company in downtown Salt Lake City, he quickly realized that this is the space where he wanted to be in his career whether it was climbing telephone poles or working in spreadsheets.
For Lendle, being able to experience new relationships and new environments is very important. Lendle is a huge foodie; finding new hole-in-the-wall places and posting them on Instagram is his hobby.
What excites you most about your role at Spiff?
Scott DeHerrera, Director of Expert Services
Scott is from Colorado and really enjoys skiing with his wife and son. When not working he can be found playing with his English Bulldog, attending one of his son’s sporting events or enjoying the outdoors. Enabling colleagues and seeing that aha moment is what really makes Scott show up for work.
What excites you most about your role at Spiff?
Erica Dettmer-Radtke, Solutions Engineer
Erica grew up in Boulder, Colorado. She always loved math, so she pursued a degree in Applied Math and Statistics at Colorado School of Mines. After enjoying her undergrad experience, and unsure of what she wanted to do out in the real world, she continued on in a five-year Bachelor’s-Master’s program to get her Master’s degree as well. This fostered her interest in solving relevant problems. Erica loves working with interesting people who challenge her to learn and grow.
For her first job, Erica moved to Arkansas, where she plans to reside for at least another couple of years. Her hobbies include traveling, trying new restaurants, gardening, reading, cooking, baking, showering her pets with love and affection, sewing, and spending time outside.
What excites you most about your role at Spiff?
Amber Maxfield, Solutions Engineer
Amber is from a small town in Northern Utah where she learned to appreciate the outdoors and kind people. Over the last year she completed a Masters of Information Systems at the University of Utah as she realized the growing need for technical skills in Utah’s workforce. She is excited to contribute to the team at Spiff! Outside work, Amber enjoys spending time with friends and family, learning the cello, reading, and playing pickleball.
What excites you most about your role at Spiff?
Oxana Jurosevic, Sr. Product Manager
Oxana grew up in a small town near Moscow, Russia, and moved to the United States to make her American dream come true. Oxana studied technology and entrepreneurship at Westminster college in Salt Lake. She finds great satisfaction in building products people love to use.
Oxana and her husband are raising two rebellious boys. She loves traveling with her boys to new places and exploring the World together. For Oxana, the most important thing in life is building memories together with family, friends and coworkers. She enjoys gathering people at her house and treating them with traditional Russian food. Oxana is a passionate snowboarder and loves to “shred the gnar” on a fresh powder day.
What excites you most about your role at Spiff?
Justin Dyer, Client Success Manager
Justin is a Colorado native at heart but has since found a new home in the luscious and waterfall-filled hills of Oregon. Justin graduated in recreation management but quickly moved into client success where his passion for user/customer experience was put to good use.
When he signs off for the day Justin loves hiking, volleyball, Ultimate Frisbee, playing games, and mountain biking (Even though he hasn’t been in over a year, but maybe listing it here will motivate him to go? Probably not). He also likes to travel but the pandemic has made that difficult; next up on the list is Iceland!
What excites you most about your role at Spiff?
Patrick Corrigan, Client Success Manager
Patrick grew up in Ireland and moved to England after university to start work. Patrick started out as a Software Engineer in Aviation, but found his love for being in front of the customers and moved into the Customer Success department.
Here, Patrick was fortunate to be able to travel the world supporting different customers in different countries. Making a customer happy is what motivates him each day. Patrick has two young children and spends a lot of time with them going to the Zoo, Museums, fruit packing, etc. Patrick also enjoys traveling, running, and often participates in small running events. Patrick is also an avid 49ers fan since the mid 90s and has attended a few of the NFL London games.
