The goal of this post is to give you a peek behind the curtain so you can meet the humans behind our brand and learn what it’s really like to work at Spiff.
Today we introduce you to 15 Spiffers who’ve been with the company since July 2021.
Nicholas Mosley, Sr Product Designer
Nic was born and raised in Idaho, but has also spent a number of years living in Belo Horizonte, Brazil and later in Lehi, Utah. He is a husband to a wonderful woman and father to four amazing children. He has designed digital products for ten years in various industries such as hospitality, genealogy, higher education, solar, and now commissions automation. He loves being in the mountains hiking, mountain biking and snowboarding or at home playing video games or watching tv/movies with his family.
What excites you most about your role at Spiff?
Brady Cottam, Solutions Architect
Brady lives in Utah and comes from a software development and software application management background. Brady has a wife and an eight year old daughter. When he’s not at work, Brady loves sports, Tesla, and Spacex.
What excites you most about your role at Spiff?
Dipesh Patel, VP of Implementation
After moving from Gujarat, India at a young age, Dipesh primarily grew up in the Northeast. When he started college, he was initially interested in medicine, but changed his focus to Math and Computer Science after a couple of years in the premed program at UW-Madison. He started his career as a consultant within Professional Services and continued down that path to eventually end up at Spiff. Dipesh enjoys spending time with his wife and son, cooking whenever he can, reading, and generally enjoying a laid back lifestyle.
What excites you most about your role at Spiff?
Nikki Peck, Software Engineer
Nikki is the seventh of eight rowdy kids. She has two sisters and five brothers. She grew up loving the chaos of a big family. Nikki went to Westminster College to earn a degree in Business. Instead, she graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science. Nikki likes creating solutions for big rowdy problems.
What excites you most about your role at Spiff?
Brittani Wynn, Social Media Marketing Associate
Brittani received her master’s degree in professional media management from Southern Illinois University. Throughout her career in the social media and digital fields, while working in television, radio, and higher education, she won several awards for innovative social and promotional content. She has a knack for creativity and an analytical business perspective that helps her thrive in the social media field.
On a personal note, Brittani enjoys spending time with her nephew, three younger brothers, fiance, and dog, Maxwell. She also enjoys reading, drawing, painting, traveling, boating, and watching movies. Brittani’s friendly disposition makes her a friend to all– she loves telling punny jokes and making authentic connections.
What excites you most about your role at Spiff?
Adam LeMmon, Sr Software Developer
Adam loves all things related to computers. His hobbies include programming for fun, video games, buying computer parts, and geeking out over his new computer’s specs. He loves reading medieval fantasy novels, biking, hiking, and playing disc golf.
What excites you most about your role at Spiff?
Dan Filler, Software Engineer
Dan was born and raised in the small town of Gettysburg, PA. Growing up, Dan pursued many interests including music, drawing, and math/science. After high school, Dan attended Ohio State University, originally for Aerospace Engineering (chosen because it had the coolest name) but he quickly switched to Computer Science Engineering. Dan became deeply interested in theoretical CS and mathematics, eventually pursuing a specialization in Artificial Intelligence. After college, Dan first worked at XANT – a sales tech company in Utah before joining Spiff. Dan loves jazz music, walking through old neighborhoods of Columbus, OH, cooking and eating, making maps, and brewing espresso.
What excites you most about your role at Spiff?
Bariona Lamani, Executive Assistant
Bariona was born in Stuttgart, 3 hours outside of Munch, Germany. She is the daughter of a chef, which means she is a big FOODIE! Bariona graduated from Suffolk University in Boston with a bachelors in Business Management. She’s lived in Boston for 20 years now and still hasn’t gotten used to the winters in New England. Bariona loves to travel, especially to Europe but there are still many places on her bucket list.
What excites you most about your role at Spiff?
Brian Silverio, Sr Client Success Manager
Brian was born in New York City and raised in Los Angeles. He has lived and traveled all over the world for work and play. Brian is a father of two, and husband of one…and most recently a first time pet parent to a mini-schnauzer named Beargrease (aka Bear). His family resides in Denver, CO.
When he’s not working, Brian loves to snowboard, mountain bike, surf, teach martial arts, drive an early (’74) Bronco, serve his community, laugh out loud when watching Comedies or geek out on Sci-Fi/Action movies, and travel to fun destinations with his family.
He has a Mechanical Engineering degree from Cal Poly Pomona, a Professional Engineer license, and a Certified Scrum Master certificate. Brian considers himself a kid at heart– he loves to play with toys…so much so that his first big job out of college was for a toy company as a Product Engineer. Since then Brian has had experience and responsibilities managing various areas such as Design, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Sales and Customer Success, both in the hardware and software space.
He is a Sr. Client Success Manager at Spiff, and his goal is to use his combined experience and passion for product to ultimately make customers’ jobs easier and their lives better.
What excites you most about your role at Spiff?
Kevin Chua, Sr Product Designer
Kevin was born in Malaysia and spent his preschool years in Brunei. Later, Kevin moved to beautiful British Columbia and studied at Simon Fraser University, where he discovered the wonderful world of design. As a child, Kevin always enjoyed taking electronic devices apart to understand how they work.
In his time off, Kevin loves practicing Brazilian jiu-jitsu, going on unplanned road trips, playing arcade games, visiting geeky museums, having “Worth It” styled foodie tours, and binging TV shows like The Queen’s Gambit.
What excites you most about your role at Spiff?
Owen Parker, Solutions Engineer
Owen is originally from the DC/Baltimore area and currently lives in Little Rock, AR. He started building computers at seven years old and has always been passionate about technology. Apple was the first business he worked with and he’s held several consulting and leadership roles in industries ranging from healthcare to building materials.
Owen’s family is super important to him; he has a wife of ten years, Sheryce, and four kids. Smoking meat, watching sports, and DIY projects are where you’ll usually find him in off hours.
What excites you most about your role at Spiff?
Ted Broadhurst, Solutions Engineer
Ted grew up outside of New York City, and has lived and worked in the Northeast for most of his life. Working with large clients across a number of roles in the tech and fintech spaces, Ted moved to Spiff, and has continued to work with and implement clients on the Spiff platform. Outside of the technology space, Ted enjoys cooking, hiking, skiing, and urban planning.
What excites you most about your role at Spiff?
Max Sadler, Sr Solutions Engineer
Max grew up outside Ann Arbor, Michigan and has lived in Grand Rapids, MI, Cape Town, South Africa, and now Denver, Colorado. Despite studying Biology, Max loves working in tech with his super talented coworkers at Spiff.
Max has a broad range of interests, both professionally and personally, and prefers to be challenged with new things daily. His professional experience in tech includes implementations, alliances, and product, and he loves combining what he’s learned from each experience to provide value for Spiff and Spiff’s customers alike. Personally, Max and his wife love to travel, hike, and camp with their Australian Shepherd pup Roo, cook and eat, and he’s an avid runner.
What excites you most about your role at Spiff?
Christin Anderson, Sr Account Executive
Christin grew up outside NYC in the small commuter town of Montclair, NJ. She moved to California after college to work in technology and has spent the last 15+ years selling SaaS– a career she started at Salesforce.
Christin loves her career and being part of such a transformative and exciting industry. Christin also loves meeting new people and driving revenues and companies forward. Right now, Christin lives in Park City where she enjoys the mountains and the gorgeous National Parks and topography.
Christin looks forward to life after COVID and traveling throughout the country and world again. When she’s not working, Christin also loves hiking, swimming, skiing, and spending time with her rescue dog Scout.
What excites you most about your role at Spiff?
Phan Tran, Sr Sales Engineer
Phan comes from a mixed engineering and business background with an eclectic work history that ranges from professional services and product management to consulting and software development. He’s enjoyed being in the trenches writing code and building features just as much as he has managing client accounts and delivering IT projects.
Phan currently lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife and loves traveling. When he’s not watching and rooting on his Niners, Giants, and Warriors, you can find him on the golf course or riding his road bike.
