We hope you and your family are safe and healthy in these turbulent times…from my couch 🛋️ to yours, here is what’s new at Spiff this month:
Period Auto-Freeze Scheduling
Users can now set a number of days, weeks, months or years after which statements should not recalculate and/or pull live updates from 3rd party data sources. Period freezing (introduced back in February 2019) allowed companies to properly close commission periods. This new feature allows them to automate the process and schedule a specific date for it.
Filter Statement Export: New Tabs, More Data
We increased the amount of data available in our statement export and re-organized it across multiple tabs to make it easier for finance users or sales reps to extract what they need and run analyses. We’ve got more coming here so stay tuned…
Statement Audit: Object Lists
Statement tracing now shows you exactly which deals were evaluated for each commission calculation. Each record includes a link back to the actual source object used in the calculation allowing for the most granular audit possible.
We added eight new functions to our functions library allowing you to handle many more complex use cases. My newest favorite is weekday() because it allows you to do all sorts of Back-to-the Future level commission sorcery. 🎩
That’s it for this month, but as always, if you have any questions, comments or feedback, please let me know directly. Also, if you would like a demo, click here and we will be happy to schedule one for you. You can also watch a quick video about how our customers feel or just go to spiff.com for more details.
