Here are our presents to you this month!
We just completed a full overhaul of our commission engine and are now seeing customer statements update in less than 50 milliseconds each, or about 4 flaps of a humming bird’s wings. For example in the case of a 100-reps company, Spiff would take about 5 seconds to recalculate all the rep statements, from a new dataset, for an entire period. This level of performance really matters when you are testing new logic, or when your reps need to know their commissions as soon as they close a deal in the CRM.
Commenting is now available on all manual adjustments. From CRM to statement-level data, sales ops, finance users and reps can now leave comments on manual adjustments as well as reply inline to specific comments, encouraging better discussions and responses. Our comments are also permission-aware, meaning only the appropriate members of your team will be able to see them and respond to them.
Renaming elements of your logic is now easier than ever. Just change the name of a field and Spiff will automatically update it everywhere it is being used. Voila!
Putting the “Fun” in Functions
We added many new functions this month, extending the capabilities of our platform. Our latest one is quota():
