Improved Deals Section

We updated our Deals section to provide you with more details about all the deals we sync from your CRM so you don’t have to go back and forth between systems anymore.


Manual Overwrites

We understand there are exceptions to everything in the commission world and Spiff has to be as flexible as Excel. Manual overwrites give you the power to overwrite almost any single value that affects your commission calculation without making any changes to your CRM. As an example, let’s assume a rep should be receiving a commission of 6% on a deal as defined by their commission plan. However, based on exceptional circumstances, the company wants to reward the rep with a 9% rate on that specific deal, they can now manually overwrite that specific rate only for that deal and rep.

This feature also comes with a history log of all the changes that were made to a specific value.


Supercharged Quotas

We have added the ability to manipulate Quotas in a much more flexible way. In addition to defining quotas per rep, now you can also sum up quotas over a period of time, for specific reps or an entire team of reps to derive new quotas. This enhancement is very useful in cases where a manager quota is defined by the sum of all the quotas of their team members.

Fully-Auditable Calculations

Some of our customers use complex payout rules with multiple levels of calculations. For example, a rule is using variables which are themselves made up of formulas and referencing other variables. For auditing purposes, seeing the details of each intermediate calculation is critical so we added that visibility to our statement export.


Support For Salesforce Account Fields Attributes

Account fields are often used by companies to store specific attributes about their customers they want to factor in their commission calculation. For example, some companies rank customers based on strategic goals. The higher the rank, the higher the commission for deals signed with these customers.

Photo Cropping

We have added cropping features to our profile photo uploader so you can upload your best shot and crop out that photo bomber.
