Prior to implementing Spiff, Algolia was managing commissions with Google Sheets. As their team grew, this became an increasingly time-consuming process. They eventually estimated that it required 24 hours each month to manage their commissions activities. The process was also subject to human error because it was so manual. With more growth on the horizon, the Algolia team recognized that it was time to find a tool to help them efficiently manage their commissions. “We were writing commissions off of Google Sheets, which wasn’t scalable.
